NAMI Buffalo & Western New York Welcomes Jeffrey Pirrone as Executive Director
Jeffrey started as our new Executive Director in May 2022. He comes to us with vast experience in working for non-profit organizations, including positions in management and leadership roles. He has extensive experience in strategic planning, and bridging communities and building equity within non-profit and philanthropic sectors. Jeffrey developed and implemented the Niagara Falls Empire State Poverty Reduction Initiative and the Mobile Safety Net team to assist the John R. Oishei Foundation. He states, “I am truly honored and excited to join NAMI in supporting and advocating for individuals and families across Western New York that are affected by mental illness. I look forward to promoting NAMI’s mission and to the collective impact we can make in overcoming barriers, reducing stigmas, furthering awareness, promoting equity, and working toward wellness in our communities.”
