Join this facilitated, confidential support group for adult family members and caregivers concerned about and/or caring for a person with mental illness. Leaders are trained family members with lived experience of a loved one’s struggles with mental illness. Open to all WNY families. In partnership with Creative Restorations, Inc., the group meets at Trinity Episcopal Church, 371 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY 14202. Street parking on Delaware Ave or park in the lot behind the church. Entrance is at the south door on Delaware, the closest toward West Tupper.
Please note: November and December scheduled dates are changed to December 4th and January 6th.
Also: Beginning on January 21, 2026, this group will change meetings to the 3rd Wednesdays of each month. It will no longer be on 4th Thursdays.

There is no fee to attend a Family Support Group. We encourage participants to join NAMI Buffalo & Erie County or make a donation, if able. No one is denied membership due to financial hardship. Membership includes local, state, and national NAMI.
This group is not appropriate for a person who has a diagnosis unless they are a caregiver of a loved one who has mental illness.
