Join this facilitated, confidential support group for adult family members and caregivers concerned about and/or caring for a person with mental illness. Leaders are trained family members with lived experience of a loved one’s struggles with mental illness. Open to all WNY families. The group meets the 3rd Thursday of each month. Weather cancellations are listed on Channel 2.
There is no fee to attend a Family Support Group. We encourage participants to join NAMI Buffalo & Erie County or make a donation, if able. No one is denied membership due to financial hardship. Membership includes local, state, and national NAMI.
This group is only appropriate for a person who has a diagnosis if they are a caregiver of a loved one who has mental illness.
