LOCKPORT group meets at a new location and time, as of February 2024!
Join this facilitated, confidential support group for adult family members and caregivers concerned about and/or caring for a person with mental illness. Leaders are trained family members with lived experience of a loved one’s struggles with mental illness. Open to all WNY families. The group is held in the Lockport Central Schools Family Service Center at the Cornerstone arena. Weather closings are listed on WGRZ Channel 2.
There is no fee to attend a Family Support Group. We encourage participants to join NAMI Buffalo & Erie County or make a donation, if able. No one is denied membership due to financial hardship. Membership includes local, state, and national NAMI.
This group is not appropriate for a person who has a diagnosis unless they are a caregiver of a loved one who has mental illness. Referrals to other services are available for those with a diagnosis seeking support. For any questions, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the office at 716-226-6264.
