Join this facilitated, confidential support group for adult family members and caregivers concerned about and/or caring for a person with mental illness. Leaders are trained family members with lived experience of a loved one’s struggles with mental illness. Open to all WNY families. The group is held in the Lockport Central Schools Family Service Center.

There is no fee to attend a Family Support Group. We encourage participants to join NAMI Buffalo & Western New York or make a donation, if able. No one is denied membership due to financial hardship. Membership includes local, state, and national NAMI.
This group is not appropriate for a person who has a diagnosis unless they are a caregiver of a loved one who has mental illness. The Lockport City School District (LCSD) Family Empowerment Center is at 57 Canal St., Suite 2, Lockport 14094 as of December 2024.
Parking is available in the community lot across the street next to the Dale Association. Enter from either the Canal St. or the Ontario St. sides.
