Programs
NAMI signature programs are offered at no cost to the public. Some programs, such as Family-to-Family classes and Family Support Group, are offered exclusively to caregiving adult family members and close friends of a person living with mental illness. Our signature programs are taught and led by trained, certified volunteer leaders who have lived family experience of the challenges of a loved one living with mental illness.
There is a long, proven history of NAMI programs and support making a difference in families’ lives. We welcome your participation. Also, our HelpLine is available by phone at 716-226-6264, Option 1. Family-to-Family classes are offered at several in-person locations and online throughout the year. Check our calendar for upcoming programs, classes, support groups and special events.
NAMI programs are not open for observation to social workers, interns, and medical professionals unless they are seeking support for themselves as a family member, caregiver or close friend of a person who has mental illness.
For individuals in recovery or living with mental illness who are seeking support, see Living with Mental Illness – Peer Support Groups.
