Family Support Group
Our Family Support Groups are facilitated, confidential support for family members and caregivers concerned about and/or caring for a person with mental illness. Leaders are trained NAMI members who have lived family experience with a loved one’s struggles with mental illness. This group is not appropriate for a person who has a diagnosis unless they are attending as a caregiver of a loved one who has mental illness.
Our support groups are available on a drop-in basis at community locations, and online (Zoom) with pre-registration. Check our calendar for dates and times. At this time, due to COVID-19, groups are only available online on the following days of the month:
1st Wednesday, 12-1:30 pm
2nd Thursday, 7-8:30 pm
3rd Wednesday, 7-8:30 pm
3rd Thursday, 7-8:30 pm
4th Wednesday, 7-8:30 pm
To pre-register for an online group, email online@namibuffalony.org with the group you prefer, your name, and a phone number where we can contact you to complete your registration.
