Day Treatment & School-Based Services
Day treatment or school-based treatment are non-residential daily services for students who are emotionally disturbed or developmentally delayed and/or in need of mental health services and structured academic programming. School-district referral for placement is required through a school district Committee on Special Education (CSE).
Day Treatment & School-Based Resources
A non-residential daily treatment/educational setting for students with educationally handicapping conditions who are in need of mental health services; serves ages 5-21. Services include individual therapy, evaluation, and consultation, academic programs, guidance, speech evaluation, and speech therapy. Referrals through Committees on Special Education.

- Day School Treatment Program
Boys and girls ages 5-21 who are classified as Emotionally Disturbed and need a high degree of structure and supportive related services to succeed in school. 12-month program. Students must be referred by School District Committee on Special Education.
Therapeutic preschool for children ages 3-5 who are classified as Emotionally Disturbed or Developmentally Delayed. Students must be referred by School District Committee on Preschool Special Education.

Day Treatment Program
Serves children ages 7-17 in need of a comprehensive, structured program providing both mental health services and academic programming.
Intensive Day Treatment
Fee: Paid by school district. Medicaid accepted.
Serves 6-12th grade students who are experiencing acute mental health problems. Provides 30 calendar days of assessment, stabilization, linkage, and collaboration.
Satellite Enrichment Program (SEP)
Erie 1 BOCES Program
Emotionally disturbed children, age 5-11 requiring an intensive, structured day treatment program. Referral through Committee on Special Education.
