Residential Programs – Child & Youth
Residential programs are for children and youth who are not yet stable and ready to return home, but do not need the same level of care as in a hospital. These residential programs may have children with a mental health diagnosis and/or a severely emotional disturbed” (SED) diagnosis. The residents receive ongoing treatment in a structured setting. Referral is usually required by one of multiple agencies such as Erie County or other county SPOA, Office of Mental Health, Department of Social Services, Family Court, and School District Committee on Special Education.
